Welcome to AdventureWorks, LLC. We seek to put on events that are "a little bit different" from your normal fair. You'll find adventures around every corner and we believe in throwing in LOTS of corners. We will provide you with the challenge, allowing you to have the experience through which you will discover your abilities.
Our events range from the wild off trail "scramble" type races where the mud is your friend to the quiet serenity of a mountain bike ride down a steep gravel road with Mr. Pothole patiently waiting at the bottom for a chance at payback.
We also have a kinder and gentler side so we put on events such as foot races, duathlons, triathlons, cross country skiing and snowshoeing events. These, of course, are designed for those recovering from the first set of events! However, sane and happy adventurers are also accepted and even encuraged to join us. Adventure is our first name and if it's an event with us you know you'll have tales to tell and memories to look back on...at least until your next insanely fun event with us!
Adventure Travel is another one of our passions. Watch for our "Monterey Adventures" planned for April of 2009. This will be an adventure including kayaking Monterey Bay, biking the scenic coastal area and hiking the Ventana Wilderness above Big Sur. A hotel and delicious meal await each night at "Base Camp". We may even have the opportunity for a surfing lesson for those "surfer dudes/dudettes" with us. Interested? Surf back for more details soon.
